Aquaspersions Malaysia was established in 1992, initially to sell products manufactured in Aquaspersions Limited (UK) into the South East Asian market.    By end of 1995, Aquaspersions Malaysia already had adequate business volume to enable it to start up a manufacturing operation in Malaysia.   

From 1996 to 2003 Aquaspersions Malaysia occupied rented space in Kuala Lumpur inside a key customer’s premises, but in year 2001 we purchased industrial land in Rawang, Selangor on which a multi-million purpose-built factory was installed.    We have been operating from this location since August, 2003.     The location is about 30kms north of Kuala Lumpur with easy access to major roads and the important Sea Port of Port Klang.      

The Headquarters of Aquaspersions Group is located in Halifax, England, UK at its sister Company, Aquaspersions Limited which was founded in 1974.

Aquaspersions Group specializes in being able to disperse or emulsify powders or oily liquids so that these can be more easily handled in our customers’ processes.

Aquaspersions Malaysia offers a wide product portfolio to locally serve Asia Pacific countries.

Perhaps the most extensive of our product ranges is the water-based antioxidant preparations, sold under the Aquanox ™ name. These products provide protection to unsaturated polymers against harmful degradation by oxygen.   They have been tailored to suit a wide variety of polymer applications and the range is constantly being developed to meet the changing market needs.

Complimenting this, Aquaspersions also manufacture a comprehensive range of principle and auxiliary polymer additives in aqueous-form, including vulcanising agents, (e.g. accelerators), crosslinkers, pigments, flame-retardants and Composite Dispersions (or water based masterbatches) of a combination of all these in the ratios or recipes required by the customers’ processes and products.

Finally, Aquaspersions Limited have recently developed the ability to disperse polymers into water, using only surfactant and without any organic solvents.  Such dispersions are suitable for use in adhesives and coatings applications and Aquaspersions Malaysia is starting to explore markets in Asia for these new products.
